Levels For Offline Day

Levels To Pledge For Offline Day (conditions are subject to change)

1) General 5 stars – No checking/sending email, no internet browsing of any sort (even for business related matters). No exceptions. Nada.

2) General 4 stars – One may check email (for important matters only) for up to a sum total of 10 minutes for the whole day. One may not reply by email but calling is ok. No internet browsing of any sort (even for business related matters).

3) General 3 stars – One may check email (for important matters only) for up to a sum total of 10 minutes for the whole day. One may not reply by email but calling is ok. One may only browse business related sites for a specific matter and only for a sum total of 10 minutes for the entire day (just enough to retrieve the necessary data and shutdown).

4) General 2 stars – One may check email (for important matters only) for up to a sum total of 20 minutes for the whole day. One may only browse business related sites for a specific matter and only for a sum total of 20 minutes for the entire day.

5) General – One may check email (for important matters only) for up to a sum total of 30 minutes for the whole day. One may only browse business related sites for a specific matter and only for a sum total of 30 minutes for the entire day.

General’s in Training Section

6) Colonel – Sorry, my work requires email/internet but I can pledge a maximum of 2 hours a day total for both internet and email and for only work related matters.

7) Captain – Sorry, my work requires email/internet but I can pledge a maximum of 3 hours a day total for both and for only work related matters.

Non-commissioned officers (NCO)

8 ) Sergeant – I promise to limit my usage on Offline Day to only work related matters but I can not promise any amount of time for that day.

9) Private – I promise only to check one news site and for not more than 5 minutes just to read the news.

10) Mole – I am passing the information on to others who (hopefully) will rise to occasion and make a pledge.
